Have we ever noticed how often Paul uses "in Christ"? That phrase or its equivalent is found about 172 times in the New Testament. I believer there is some importance attached to it.
  • Where is there refuge from emptiness of life? In Christ.
  • Where is there passing from death to life? In Christ.
  • Where is there freedom from all sin? In Christ.
  • Where is there NOW NO CONDEMNATION? In Christ.
  • Where are all heaven's spiritual blessings? In Christ.
  • And in whom were we eternally elected? In Christ.
  • And in whom was the creation created? In Christ.
  • And where are we enriched in all things? In Christ.
  • And where are the riches with which God will supply our every need? In Christ!
Get a concordance and see for yourself the centrality of the Christ and the importance of getting "into" Christ.
Galatians 2:20 It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
